“Little People”?
I do not understand the phrase “little people” and why that is supposed to be somehow less demeaning than that of the word midget. I feel much much more condescending when calling midgets “little people”. I really don’t mean to belittle them (baha pun) but I think I would be insulted if someone called me “little person”. I need to speak to a “height-challenged person” about this.
